The programme is run in partnership with other local delivery agents, with activities having been chosen by residents, mirroring local interests in needs. Yoga, music and dance, cycling, walking, boxing fitness and basketball are just a few examples of the sessions on offer, with a core aim to ensure local people feel they have a place and time each week that can make them feel more engaged in the place they call home.

Thames Ward Community Project - Model City Barking
(TWCP) aims to be a catalyst for sustainable community-led change. The project brings together schools, community groups and residents from across the Thames ward of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham over a period of three years to develop initiatives that will create a stronger, more cohesive, healthier and skilled community.
