Tackle uses football to deliver information and services to adolescents and young people on HIV and SRHR. The coaches learn and deliver sessions to strengthen HIV and SRHR response in Hoima, Uganda. Tackle is currently seeking to build on their existing work with the goal to keep AGYW in school by tackling period inequality, and positively affect their education outcomes. The programme will also directly impact future livelihoods of female teachers who are trained as coaches in this programme through the coaching training, as well as acquiring sanitary pad-making skills.
