Project overview

Youth with disabilities are often overlooked when it comes to planning and establishing programmes for children. Development at an early age is crucial and supporting those with special needs is incredibly important in order to give them the best chance of succeeding in their academics and future paths to employment that may emerge.

Wiffzack promotes the independence and personal initiative of children and youths with special educational needs. The projects offers a large variety of different indoor and outdoor activities such as rock climbing, dancing, self-defence classes, martial arts, tennis, basketball, winter sports and many more. These activities support the participants in developing self-confidence and in learning to set goals for themselves. Wiffzack also goes one step further to help these children integrate into society by working to increase tolerance, understanding and support, and to reduce the discrimination that youth with cognitive disabilities face.
