Dlamini
Andile Dlamini is the South African national woman’s team and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper and affectionately known as ‘Sticks’. Having played as an infield player before moving in goal, Andile draws inspiration from former teammates and Banyana Banyana internationals Mamello Makhbane, Amanda Dlamini and U.S Women’s National Team player Hope Solo. Andile was crowned as Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament 2021 #TotalEnerggiesCAFWCL, keeping three successive clean sheets during the tournament. She was also named Goalkeeper of the tournament when South Africa won WAFCON 2022. Andile is passionate about giving back to her community by running feeding programs in her community and paying it forward by donating gloves and boots to those coming after her.
