Malaika

The Malaika Community Center was opened in 2013 and offers health, literacy, and sports programs for over 5,000 youth and adults in the wider community including a vocational training program offering training in electrics and mechanics. It also hosts the Mama Ya Mapendo program that sees an intergenerational group of women create bags and accessories locally that Malaika then sells in markets around the country, returning the profits back to the women. The Center conducts outreach programs to our surrounding villages on SRHR, Malaria prevention & sport for social development.
