Golfing for Good
The long awaited Final of the MercedesTrophy in Germany took place in the Home of Laureus, the Grand Tirolia Gold & Ski Resort in Kitzbühel earlier this month.
The lucky participants were the 52 winners of the 13 MercedesTrophy Qualification tournaments (four players per Trophy) as well as 15 members from Mercedes-Benz dealerships. Laureus Ambassadors Stefan Blöcher, Fredi Bobic, Marcel Siem and Laureus Academy Member Franz Klammer were also in attendance.
The event raised €6730 for the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation to support its projects in Germany-Austria.
The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation raises funds to provide financial and practical support to more than 150 projects which use the power of sport to provide coaching and education to young people in some of the most challenging or deprived environments around the world.
