The Fundación Laureus Argentina was founded in May 2003, by Academy member, Hugo Porta. The legendary former rugby player is now President of the Foundation and very involved in its daily management, while also making time to visit the excellent programmes supported by the Foundation.
The headquarters are in Buenos Aires but the Foundation's work extends to distant Argentine provinces that greatly benefit from its backing.
