En marzo de 2022, Nike y Laureus Sport for Good lanzaron Jugamos Juntas, una iniciativa para brindar a las niñas de la Ciudad de México acceso a espacios seguros, inclusivos y divertidos a través del juego y el deporte.

Con una inversión inicial de tres años, la iniciativa proporciona fondos para fortalecer a las instituciones comunitarias que buscan expandir las oportunidades de juego y deporte para ellas.

Se recluta y otorga capacitación especializada a entrenadores, especialmente mujeres, para ayudarles a crear entornos positivos en los que niñas y niños jueguen y se desarrollen juntos.

Para crear un mayor impacto, se colabora con organizaciones clave de la Ciudad de México que tengan un rol fundamental para impulsar y defender a las niñas y mujeres dentro y fuera de la cancha.

In March 2022, building on their longstanding commitment to girls and because too many of them are still being left on the sidelines, Nike and Laureus Sport for Good launched Jugamos Juntas – to give girls in Mexico City access to safe, inclusive, and fun experiences in play and sport.

With an initial three-year investment, the initiative is providing funds and building the capacity of community organizations so they can expand play and sport opportunities for girls.

Though the recruitment and training of coaches, especially women, locally delivered programs create positive environments where girls and boys play and thrive together.

To deliver long-term impact, key institutions across Mexico City are invited to collaborate as advocates for girls and women – on and off the field.
