The United States beat Great Britain 74-61 to retain their world title, Schulte scoring 32 points to lead his team to victory. Earlier last year, senior point guard Schulte was a key figure as the University of Texas secured their sixth National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball title, winning the Most Valuable Player award and being named a first-team All-American.
