Considered to be one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, Stephen Curry played a crucial role in the Golden State Warriors’ NBA Championship win in 2014/15. He was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player, finishing the season with 286 three-pointers, which helped the Warriors to a franchise-record 67 wins in the season. He has continued to play well in the 2015/16 season, scoring 40 points (including a career-high 24 points in the first quarter) in the Warriors' season-opening win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Curry became the first player since Michael Jordan in 1989–90 to score 118 points in the first three games of a season.
