Still just 24, climaxed the season by winning the World Championship in Sao Paulo for the fourth time. He was also overall winner of the Street League series for the fifth time. During the year he won gold medal for Street at the Shanghai X Games and gold for Best Trick at the Minneapolis X Games, taking his career total to 12 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze.
