Repeated his Wimbledon success of 2023 with another triumph in the final over rival Novak Djokovic. He also won his first French Open title, beating Alexander Zverev in the final. With victory at Roland Garros, he became the first player in the Open Era to win his first three majors on three different surfaces. He also won an Olympic silver medal in the men’s singles at Paris 2024, losing to Djokovic in the final. Alcaraz, still just 21, who finished the year No.3 in the world rankings, has won 16 ATP Tour-level singles titles in his career to date, including four Grand Slam titles and five Masters 1000 titles.
