With drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri both scoring points consistently throughout the year, McLaren won their first Formula One World Constructors’ Championship since 1998, and ninth in the team’s history. In a thrilling conclusion to the season, World Drivers’ Championship runner-up Norris won the final race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to secure the championship for the iconic British outfit ahead of rivals Ferrari, while defending champions Red Bull ended the campaign third. Team Principal Andrea Stella has been at the heart of the McLaren revival after taking over ahead of the 2023 season, while the restructuring and rebuilding of the team was led by chief executive Zak Brown.
