The reedy but rubbery Quebecois has seized control of skateboarding's vert scene by nailing numerous variations of Nollie Heelflips - technical, no-handed flip tricks where, in skateboard parlance, he goes "massive," soaring eight feet off the ramp while pulling 540-degree spins. Last year, "PLG" (as he is popularly known) finished with a medal in more than 90 percent of the competitions he entered. Capped his season with a gold medal at the X Games.
