Under celebrated coach Jose Mourinho, in 2010 Inter Milan accomplished the first ever Italian treble in a single season, winning the Champions League, Serie A (Italian League) and the Coppa Italia (Italian Cup).
At the start of the 2010/11 season, Inter defeated Roma 3–1 to win the Supercoppa Italiana, their fourth trophy of the calendar year. It was the fifth successive year Inter Milan have won Serie A, equalling the all-time record of Juventus in the 1930s.
