At Sochi, aged just 21, German sit-skier Anna Schaffelhuber became only the second skier in history (along with Lauren Woolstencroft) to win all five alpine skiing gold medals – Downhill, Super-G, Slalom, Combined and Giant Slalom - at one Paralympic Winter Games.
Also in the 2013/14 season she dominated every single IPC Alpine Skiing World Cup race in which she finished, which gave her the overall World Cup title, as well as discipline titles in Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom and Slalom. Born with an incomplete spinal chord, she is paraplegic and began monoskiing at the age of five.
