Mauritius athlete Fabienne St Louis competed in the triathlon at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics after recovering from salivary gland cancer the previous year. She needed two operations that resulted in face paralysis for three months. She was so determined to compete she had a tattoo of the Olympic rings on her arm. Unfortunately in Rio, she had to pull out of the event after the swim when she had problems with her foot.
