The 21-year-old American won her second straight Olympic halfpipe in Beijing, scoring 94 during her first run which was good enough to take the gold medal. It made her the first female snowboarder to win back-to-back gold medals in the event. At the 2018 Winter Olympics, she had been the youngest woman at 17 to win a snowboarding gold medal and was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. She is a six-time X-Games gold medallist.
