In 2023, the 13-year-old Australian skateboarding star made history when she became the first female skater to land a 720 - a trick involving two full rotations in mid-air - in competition. She completed this feat at the Tony Hawk Vert Alert in Utah, fittingly with Laureus Academy Member Hawk in attendance.  competition.

The teenager repeated the trick in the X-Games in California, winning the vert gold medal, and added a second gold in the Park competition. And, in at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid became the skateboarder to win the Laureus World Action Sportsperson of the Year Award.
