Won the French Open for the third time in 2023, her fourth career Grand Slam, having also won at Roland Garros in 2020 and 2022 and the US Open in 2022. She is the first Polish player to win a Grand Slam singles title. She was knocked out of the US Open in the round of the last 16 in September and lost her world No.1 ranking. However she fought back to beat Jessica Pegula 6-1, 6-0 to win the WTA Finals in Cancun in November and reclaim the No.1 position. Aged 22, she has won a total of 17 singles titles.
