The 31-year-old American legend returned to Olympic competition and confirmed his iconic status with a third Halfpipe gold medal. After missing out in Sochi four years ago, White took some time out to pursue business interests and play in his band. In October 2017, en route to Pyeongchang, he overcame a training injury which required 62 stiches in a facial wound.
