At the age of 21, Jordan Spieth made a remarkable impact on the world of golf in 2015, winning two Major Championships – the Masters and the US Open – and becoming No.1 in the world rankings. He tied the Masters record of 270 (18-under-par), set by Tiger Woods in 1997, and was the second youngest winner behind Woods. He also became the youngest winner of the US Open since Bobby Jones in 1923. His victory in the US Tour Championship secured the Fed Ex Cup and a US$10 million bonus. Spieth swept all the major US awards: PGA Player of the Year , PGA Tour Player of the Year and the Vardon Trophy and Byron Nelson Award for scoring average.
